Charlie Hunter was in Atlanta last night performing with Kurt Elling, and we had a great hang before the show. I played drums in Charlie’s band from 2000 to 2002. That was my first big gig and we traveled the world together (and made a few albums). He’s the best!!! Great musician, a true artist, and righteous dude.
